Have you ever wondered how movies create their sound effects? Did you know that the sound of horse hooves is actually made from a coconut? Take a look behind the curtain and discover how movie sound magic is made! Between loud crashes, dinosaur calls, and magical powers, participants will learn the basics of sound design and sound effect creation. Using a variety of household objects, students will design, create, and record a soundscape for a short movie clip they will present at the end of the week. Bring your creativity!
