Opportunities through REMC

REMC Association is celebrating 50 years of service to Michigan!  Although we’ve been around for a while, many of you are just getting to know us.  Here are a few opportunities that REMC has to offer for educators.

Online Learning

Now educators can earn SCECHs faster by enrolling in REMC’s free Virtual Courses!  Beginning July 1, all REMC Virtual Courses have been revised to offer 10 free SCECHS upon successful completion. Now you can reach your continuing education credit goals faster by taking our free Virtual Courses.

Discounts on Devices

Now’s the time to update your personal devices!  REMC SAVE vendors offering discounts to staff, students and families on computers & accessories purchased for personal use.  Pricing good thru 9/30. Details are here: https://ctl.net/pages/remc-save-2019-discount

Playdates

The PLAYDATE is a learner-driven, hands-on professional learning experience.

Think about the last time you attended an ed tech professional learning event. Oftentimes we leave full of new knowledge and a list overflowing with new apps, programs and skills to try out.  However, once we return to the “real world” we lack the time and support to actually try out these new tools.

At PLAYDATEs educators from around the area join together for a few hours and just play.  They work together to learn about ed tech apps, programs and tools with one another. There are no presenters, no experts and no agenda.  Simply time to play, tinker and explore all at no cost!

6 SCECH available only for attendance at one PLAYDATE.
