Michigan Technological University Summer Youth Programs
What are you doing this Summer? If its not recharging, exploring, meeting new people, and learning (Yes, I said it learning.) then, you aren’t doing it right! Summer Youth Programs at Michigan Technological University has been around since 1972. This camp not only highlights what it is like to live on a college campus, but science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) sits up front and center and is full of excitement!
Don’t have a ride?…..That’s okay! Summer Youth Program offers chaperoned charter bus service to Houghton, MI. Students are picked up on Saturday evening and arrive at campus Sunday morning. $275 round Trip, $175 one-way 2018 Charter Routes: West: Chicago, Gaylord, Grand Rapids, and Kalamazoo East: Bay City, Lansing, Novi, Rochester, St. Ignace
Can you apply for a scholarship? Sure! Students are selected for scholarship programs on a competitive basis. To apply for a scholarship program, visit syp.mtu.edu and complete the application form for the program you’re interested in. Submit your application along with teacher recommendation, your unofficial high school transcript, and responses to short essay questions.
